Rehearsal dinner

The Friday before the Wedding Joy, Julia's Mother organised a feast for our rehearsal dinner. We call it a rehearsal dinner mostly out of tradition, as nothing was actually rehearsed. It's just a sort of pre-party so people get to meet each other before the wedding. Here is a picture of Julia's Uncle Bernie cutting up some beef to be marinated in a chimichurri sauce with lots of cilantro and garlic. Also with that Greek and couscous salads were served. Delicious!

The dinner was held at the chalets where many members of Julia's family were staying. They have a big gazebo there that you can reserve for just these occasions. They also rent out big BBQs.

Upwards of 50 people showed up and there was food and beer for all. Here we are enjoying these and the location since it's quite beautiful there ( I think this was talked about in the previous post).

There is also a little playground for the kids. Very convenient. I'm pushing 4 little cousins back and forth at the same time!
Fun was had by all late into the evening. But not too late since the big day was coming up the next day (our wedding day).
