Schwarzbiernacht 2008

Another year another Schwarzbiernacht. I (Jeremi) wasn't here at this time last year but I heard a lot about it and saw the pictures. If you want to learn more check out last years post. we started at Rona's with a potluck and then headed over to the mall. This year we got to the mall a little too late to see the main act. But we did did stop by long enough to have a beer and take a picture of the fans on the second floor dangling their beers over the edge. Safety Bear Julia did not appreciate.
After that we went to Boheme, which is a cafe we never go to, to see a '50 and '60 retro band. It was packed but we somehow got a table. We had to go to the Irish pub after that to see the acclaimed, by Julia last year, Merry Poppins. They were pretty good and made Julia supper happy as you can see here.

They played upstairs, which is not the biggest venue so the place was packed. They were very good.
Although not nearly as popular as last year, Schwarzbiernacht was still lots of fun. Calin and Susanne stayed over and the next morning we made a middle eastern egg dish that consists of fried garlic, eggs and dried mint.
